  • Administrative documents that can be requested for publication are administrative documents created or acquired on or after April 1, 2002.

Decide whether to publish

As a general rule, we will decide whether or not to publish within 15 days from the date of receiving the publication request, and we will notify you by notification. In addition, if the requested administrative document does not exist, it will be decided to be closed due to non-existence.
If a decision is made to publish, we will inform you of the date and place of publication in advance.

When extending the decision period

If there is a compelling reason, we may extend the decision period for publication up to 15 days. In addition, since the number of administrative documents related to disclosure requests is extremely large, even if the decision period is extended by 15 days, if there is a risk that making a disclosure decision for all of them will cause a significant hindrance to the execution of office work, it will be extended. We may decide whether to publish beyond the later decision period.
In either case, we will notify you in writing within 15 days of receiving the request for publication.

Information that cannot be disclosed (non-public information)

If the administrative document subject to disclosure request contains information on crime prevention, investigation, personal privacy, etc., it may not be disclosed.

Cost of issuing a copy

When publishing an administrative document, viewing the published administrative document is free of charge, but if you need to issue a copy, you will need to pay for it. (Example: Copy paper (black and white) 1 sheet 10 yen, copy paper (color) 1 sheet 50 yen, etc.)
Depending on the storage status of administrative documents, it may not be possible to issue a copy in the desired medium.
