When we learned from emergency earthquake bulletin etc. while driving

Depending on the surrounding situation, do not panic, turn on the emergency blinking light to call attention to the surrounding cars, avoid sudden braking, and slow down slowly.

When an earthquake or the like occurs during operation

  • Stop on the left side of the road in a way that is as safe as possible, such as avoiding sudden turns or sudden braking.
  • After stopping, listen to earthquake information and traffic information using a car radio, etc., and act according to the information and surrounding conditions.
  • When evacuating with a car, move to a location off the road as much as possible. If you must evacuate on the road, park on the left side of the road, stop the engine, keep the engine key on, close the windows, and do not lock the door.
  • When parking, do not park in a place that may interfere with the evacuation of people and the implementation of emergency response measures.
  • Do not use a car for evacuation.
