Yokote Station Police Box

After exiting JR Yokote Station, the police box in front of the station is on your left.
The police box in front of Shin-Yokote Station, which started construction in January 2008, was completed and opened on April 4th.
The new police box has been relocated to a site adjacent to the old police box, and is partly a two-story wooden building with a meeting room on the second floor for meetings with local residents.
Due to the location, there are many geographic instructions, and the most common one is "Please tell me a delicious yakisoba restaurant."
Many tourists visit the traditional festivals "Kamakura", "Bonden", and "Oribon" where houseboats collide with each other.
The hot spring in front of the station is also popular. Yokote Castle lit up at night is very beautiful.

Masuda executive police box

It is located near National Route 342, which runs east to west in Masuda Town.
The famous "Ringo no Uta" was born in Masuda, the birthplace of "Masuda apples".
Within its jurisdiction is Mato Park, which is famous for its “Tarai Rowing Competition”.
The park has been selected as one of the top 100 cherry blossom spots in Japan, and you can enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms during the season.

Jumonji police box

It is located in Jumonji-cho, which is adjacent to Yuzawa city.
In front of the police box, the prefectural road Nozaki-Jumonji Line, commonly known as "Sakurambo-dori", runs, and it is crowded with many tourists during the harvest season.
In addition, within the jurisdiction, there is "Jumonji Ramen", which is popular for its refreshing taste, and the Minase River, which is famous as a place where swans fly.

Asakura Sub-branch

It is built along the prefectural road Goshono/Yasuda line.
Surrounded by idyllic rural landscapes such as paddy fields and orchards.
Yokote Prefectural High School is nearby.
In the Sugisawa area within the jurisdiction, there are ruins from the Jomon period, and many remains of dwellings and earthenware have been excavated.

Sakae Substation

It is located along National Route 13, which has a lot of traffic day and night.
The Sakae district has long been known as "Oya Ume no Sato", and its birthplace is Oya Temple Kiarashi, and many tourists visit every year.
Near the police station, Sakae Shrine, which boasts a 1,200-year-old tradition, stands tall and watches over the safety of the region.

It is located along Route 13, which has extremely heavy traffic, and Daisen City is next to it to the north.
In the jurisdiction, there is "Heian no Kazewataru Park" and "Kanazawa Museum", which are known as the old battlefields of the "Gosannen Kassen" in the middle of the Heian period, and you can look back on the history of those days.

We are in charge of the Yamauchi district, which borders Iwate Prefecture via Route 107.

The Daigo district has a thriving apple production, and the apples are shipped both inside and outside the prefecture under the name of “Hiruka Apples”.

Yoshida Sub-branch

It is located in the Yoshida district in the northeastern part of Hiraka-cho, where a quiet rural area spreads out.
There are orchards in the surrounding area, where apples and grapes are grown.
Within the jurisdiction, there are also traditional festivals such as the 300-year-old “Daigo Kodokoro Numairi Bonten” and the 400-year-old “Fukamanai Kagura”.

Omonogawa Substation

Route 107, which connects the southern part of the prefecture and Yurihonjo City, runs east-west through the center of the jurisdiction.
In Chuo Park near the police station, four thatched houses from the Edo and early Meiji eras have been relocated and restored, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of those days.
Watermelons and matsutake mushrooms are local specialties, and the "Matsutake Marathon" held in October every year offers a lot of matsutake mushrooms as products and is popular with many participants.

Omori Sub-branch

It is located at a transportation point where the prefectural road Omagari/Omori/Ugo Line and the prefectural road Yokote/Omori/Ouchi Line intersect.
The nearby Omori Park, which is located on the ruins of an old castle, is also known as Mount Yoshino in the Tohoku region, and is famous for its cherry blossoms.
In addition, Mt.Horoba (438 meters), known as a sacred place for mountain worship, is popular as a place of relaxation for local residents.

Daio Sub-branch

We are in charge of the Daio area, the largest hop production area in the prefecture.
The "Summer Festival" held on the last Saturday of July every year is held in cooperation with a beer maker and is popular for its cheap draft beer and song shows.
In autumn, large-scale flower beds are created using fallow fields along the prefectural roads Yokote, Omori, and Ouchi, and delight passers-by.

Higashinaruse Sub-branch

It stands in front of the Higashinaruse village office at the foot of Kurikoma Quasi-National Park.
Higashinaruse Village was certified as the village with the best starry sky in Japan in the "National Starry Sky Observation 1999" sponsored by the Environment Agency.
Within the jurisdiction, there is also the trailhead of Mt. Kurikoma, which has a magnificent view, and Mt. Yakeishi, where you can enjoy many alpine plants.
You can enjoy camping at Lake Sukawa in the summer and skiing at Jeunesse Kurikoma in the winter.
