We did that.
One individual and one outstanding traffic safety organization were selected as recipients of the Traffic Safety Meritorious Service Award.
This award is presented jointly by the Chief of the Akita Prefectural Police and the Chairman of the Akita Prefectural Traffic Safety Association.
Regarding the traffic safety banners, the Akita Prefectural Private Motor Vehicle Association has provided them to our police station.
Forty traffic safety banners were donated.
The 10-day period from April 6th to April 15th, when the event will be held, coincides with the nationwide spring traffic safety campaign.
To coincide with the start of this campaign, we will work together with various organizations that are engaged in traffic safety activities to promote traffic safety.
We also performed a Shinto ritual to offer prayers.
Our police station aims to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, and to improve the safe driving awareness of drivers of vehicles.
We will be conducting activities to promote traffic safety.
