What is the Police Station Council?
In order for the police station chief to reflect the public opinion in the operation of the police station, the Police Station Council represents the wishes of the local residents, etc., and selects people who are suitable to express their opinions and requests regarding safety issues in the area. It is an advisory body for hearing opinions about the way things should be.
The Police Station Council consists of members commissioned by the Akita Prefectural Public Safety Commission.
